Lincoln Design Co. partnered with Epic Games to level up the visuals of Fortnite’s Loot Drop program, creating bold assets that resonate with the 13+ audience while pushing the brand in fresh, style-forward directions. From character illustration and icon design to patterns, product mockups, and full graphic kits, we developed cohesive systems that allow Fortnite to tell targeted stories across retail and merchandise. Designed with purpose, our work leans into iconic character illustrations, fresh streetwear-inspired aesthetics, and trend-driven visuals that keep the brand recognizable, flexible, and always evolving.

FORTNITE LOOTDROP 6.0

 

In this Loot Drop we focused on building timeless visuals rooted in Fortnite’s core identity. First, we illustrated iconic characters in a classic, evergreen style that aligns with the game’s established aesthetic. Then we explored creative logo play graphics, using the Fortnite logo as a canvas for bold, branded story telling. Finally, using the illustrated characters, we expanded the core look into patterns and compositions that reflect the game’s original colors and mass appeal.

 

FORTNITE LOOTDROP 5.0

 

For this capsule, we explored new visual territory to help age up the Fortnite brand while staying rooted in its iconic DNA. First, we reimagined OG looks through the lens of retro fantasy sci-fi, leaning into bold, ’80s-inspired illustration. Then we brought Fortnite’s iconic locations to life with vintage travel aesthetics, and rounded it out with stippled, print-style graphics that gave classic characters a textured, timeless edge.

 

FORTNITE LOOTDROP 4.0

 

For Loot Drop 4, we were again asked to create two distinct style directions. First, we tapped into retro sports aesthetics, creating bold, nostalgic designs for those who live for that vintage athletic look. Then, we drew inspiration from workwear and roadside attractions, giving Fortnite a fun yet rugged, durable look that can stand the test of time.

 

FORTNITE LOOTDROP 3.0

 

For Loot Drop 3, Lincoln created two distinct visual styles to expand the brand’s reach. One leaned into street art, with graffiti-style tags, drips, spray textures, and a gritty, urban energy. The other took a cleaner, tech-inspired approach using bold typography, line work, repetition, and flat colors for a sharp, modern feel.
